Photo loss due to corrupt media

So right now i have a creative lab zen vision:m. i’ve had it for almost 2 years and i love it. The only thing is that i can never find chargers,cases etc for it because its not as popular as others. I was thinking about getting the ipod classic 120GB. It looks pretty good and its @ a reasonable price. My 1st question is, is it a good ipod?..Now my 2nd question is about itunes. I already have it but since i don’t have an ipod i’ve never used it(except for the occasional podcast download)..When you transfer your music say from windows media to itunes will the music still play with windows media?
Do i have to have the newest version of itunes for the 120GB ipod?
yes the ipod is good – i have one — and as for itunes (great software btw) and yes you can still play the song on wmp because the format (mp3 or AAC) doesn’t change
