By the way, the company produces two more 2-disk models: a higher-performance Atom-based TS-239 Pro and an entry-level TS-210 with an 800MHz ARM processor and without a hot swap feature.
Superior performance with abundant business features
Adopting Marvell 1.2 GHz CPU and large-sized 512MB DDRII RAM, the Turbo NAS maintains superior performance even when there is intensive access to the network services of the server simultaneously. The TS-219 also supports cross-platform service across Windows, Mac, Linux, and UNIX. Enhanced industry-leading features are also provided, e.g. built-in iSCSI target service, Online RAID Capacity Expansion, Online RAID Level Migration, unauthorized policy-based IP blocking, instant SMS alert notification, schedule power on/ off, and two IP cameras for network surveillance.
Maximize the enjoyment of your home multimedia center
The built-in UPnP/ DLNA media server (with TwonkyMedia enabled) of the Turbo NAS supports a wide range of DLNA media players such as Sony PS3 and Microsoft Xbox 360 gaming consoles and works well with NFS-supported High-Definition (HD) DMA for HD video streaming. By installing DLNA/ UPnP application on your iPhone or iPod touch, you can access the Turbo NAS on the local network and play the multimedia contents, e.g. videos, music, and photos on the server. In addition, the high-speed PC-less Download Station with the unique QGet utility enables you to manage the BT/ FTP/ HTTP download tasks remotely over the local network or the Internet. Secure data storage, access, and sharing
- Comprehensive event logs: Detailed logs of file-level data access to the NAS via samba, FTP, AFP, HTTP, HTTPS, Telnet, and SSH, and networking services accessed by online users are all recorded.
- SSL security (HTTPS): The NAS can be accessed and configured by web browser securely.
- Remote login to the NAS by SSH (secure shell) or Telnet connection is supported.
- Secure FTP: The data can be transmitted with SSL/TLS (explicit) encryption. Passive FTP port range setup is also supported.
- Write-only access right on FTP server: The third party partners are allowed to upload data to the NAS but not able to read or edit the data on FTP server.
Advanced RAID Management with Hot-swap Design
The Turbo NAS supports RAID 1 Mirroring for non-stop service and easy maintenance. When data crash occurs, the administrator can be alerted by e-mail alarm and LED indication. The hard disk drive can be replaced by hot swapping without turning off the server. The intelligent data rebuilding capability allows users to replace a failed drive by hot-swap.

Ive got a PS3 and when I click “search for media servers,” it freakin keeps saying “none found.” Why?
I have an ethernet cable connected to my PS3 thats coming from a router thats hooked up to my PC. Now dont tell me I cant access my computer from my PS3 this whay cause then you will be wrong. I say that because I have done it, it just happens to happen, when the stupid a** PS3 feels like it. So my question is how do I fix this once and for all, to where its easy. I have Microsoft media player 11. I go to share media and the PS3 doesnt show up in the “share with” box. Can you tell me how I can get my computer to recognize the damn PS3?
in case u did it wrong follow this…..go to media player 11 tools, then options, then click library , then click configure sharing, then tick share my media and press ok, then the white box will appear with “share my media to” on top, then on ur ps3 scan for media servers and u will get a message on ur computer that a unknown device wants to share files….click allow if it asks or in the white box highlight the unknown device and click allow, then press apply/ ok then exit media player. Now on ps3 u search for media servers again this time u should be able to stream media from ur computer by selecing ur computer’s name that shows up on ur ps3.
