Boot from Linux for media player?
I was thinking about installing Linux on my HP notebook so that I could load a media player for booting up quickly while traveling. My thoughts are that this might save battery power? Is this realistic, or will Linux suck the life out of my battery just like Vista Ultimate
you will likly find it to be a little easier on your comp then vista for sure if you use a light distro its just not the norm reason people switch and you might find this to be a bit more complex then it sounds depending on your hard ware and choice of distro
