Motorola Backflip Offers An Impressive Array Of Functionality-Myluxphone
The Motorola Backflip was recently released and offers an impressive array of functionality. Key features include a combination of touch screen navigation and QWERTY text entry, as well as internet access and a 5MP camera.
AT&T has made their first foray into the Android smartphone market, and it looks to be rather depressing. The first phone is the Motorola Backflip, which itself is nothing special aside from the different design. However, from the looks of it as of now, AT&T doesn’t seem understand the full draw of Android to some users.
Part of the draw to Android is the fact that apps can easily be installed outside of the Market, unlike the iPhone which only allows apps from the App Store. This allows users to install apps that may not appear in the Market for a variety of reasons. The AT&T Backflip, however, seems to lack this functionality. This means there’s no chance of Backflip owners trying the beta of Swype right now, among other apps. The Motorola Battery is also powerful.
This might not make a huge difference to some users, surely not everyone with an Android smartphone is going to care about installing apps from anyplace but the Market. It does mean, however that there are some who would just as easily pass on AT&T Android phones if it continues. Motorola Cables are available at Myluxphone.com.
Class 12 EDGE and Class 12 GPRS provide the Motorola Backflip with its primary means of network connectivity in areas with little or no 3G coverage. In areas covered by 3G, HSDPA is available at speeds of up to 7.2Mbps. A faster internet connection can be attained thanks to Wi-Fi connectivity. This takes advantage of the signal provided by wireless internet routers in domestic and commercial locations. To share files with friends at no cost, Bluetooth V2.1 is installed. A micro USB connection enables the phone to be connected to a computer so users can transfer files and back up contact info etc.
The operating system of choice is the renowned Android software, in this case version 1.5 (Cupcake). In conjunction with a 528MHz processor, this provides an impressive user interface and a fast and smooth user experience.
The media player supports most of the common music and video file formats, whereas a variety of games provides an alternative method of entertainment. Social networkers will love the inclusion of applications allowing direct access to websites such as Facebook, MySpace and Twitter.

Windows Media Player 12?
I have been seeing a lot of people positing links to a Windows Media Player skin that was apparently ripped from the Windows 7 Beta disc. They claim it is legit and i believe but to get the program to work I have to copy .dll files and folders to overwrite other folders and execute the program from there. Is there any simple installation file or files that does the job like a normal setup? Please assist ASAP.
The files are available from the Windows 7 beta build.7000.
So far, it will not work. – check on deviantart for the files.
I would stick with 11, for the meanwhile, until official release of 12.
