How do I make Windows Media my default player?
When inserting an audio CD, it keeps wanting to go to
Music Match Jukebox player. On Windows Media Player I
went to tools, options & file types and checked them all and
hit apply but it unchecks the CD playback as well as mp3
when inserting the disc to play it and Music Match pops up.
What can resolve this issue, please?
Here’s what you want to do. Go to the Control Panel, and double click the Add/Remove Programs icon. On the left hand side, you’ll see an icon for “Set Program Access and Defaults”. Click the radio button for “Custom”, and under the “Choose a default media player” heading, select “Windows Media Player”. Make sure the adjacent checkbox called “Enable Access to this program” is checked.
Hit “Ok”, and that should do it.
