This is about HDMI connection?
I have a new 40″ Sony LCD tv and also a new ONKYO receiver which supports HDMI…(1 in 3out).My virgin media box and my Sony DVD with hard drive do not have HDMI outputs, is it worth buying a decent HDMI cable to go from the amp to the TV, would I notice any real difference in picture or sound quality, or is there a connection box that combines scart in from from DVD and virgin box and HDMI out into the amp…Thanks.
i don’t think you would notice any significant difference, but i brought a hdmi cable from ebay for my tv for about 3pounds. Unless your getting a hd signal you wont notice any difference.
I have a dvd with hdmi upscaling and can tell no difference beetween it being plugged in with a scart cable or a hdmi cable.
But as i said get a cheap hdmi cable off ebay and try it, i have actually seen some in poundland but they are only like a foot long.
