I want to transfer music and pictures to my Xbox 360 from my computer, how the he** do I do this?! Please help
Ok, I went on google and typed this question in hoping for some type of guide but had no luck. I have a PC that has XP running with service pack 2. I have my modem plugged into a router and have the router hooked up into the back of my tower. I have an ethernet cable plugged into the router that is coming from my 360. I dont have the Microsoft Media Center thing, but I do have Microsoft Media Player 11. So…thats what Ive got, am I needing anything elese…Oh yeah, if your going to say “www.xbox.com/pcsetup” Please be VERY detailed as to why your using that for an answer. I say that because thats where I have been ALL day and have had zero luck with that damn site! To all who help, thank you.
lol,easy! i have tried following the rules with the media player and the xbox.com/pcsetup blah blah blah blah!
okay i will walk you through this.
go to http://www.zune.net/en-us/meetzune/software.htm
then click ‘download’
im assuming you use Windows® XP Home, Professional, and Tablet PC Edition Service Pack 2 so we will use that
right above Windows XP SP 2 (in white bold) there should be a ‘click here’ link, click it
it will start the download for the setup. after its done set it up
after the end of the long setup it will ask you to sync a connection or something, click ‘Skip’ at this point make sure your DSL cord is hooked up to your router or modem (which other one you use) and go to the 360 dashboard.
continue with zune then go to Media and choose either pictures or music (go to pictures, its easier) and select ‘computer’ it should tell you to go to pcsetup (screw that!) just choose ‘Yes, continue’
now it should find your computer, and in zune you can either set up your zune software to read from my documents and from your desktop to find videos, music, and pictures!
another cool thing is that you can set pictures to your 360 backround theme! use 800×600 pictures so it gets it right in frame. Enjoy!
