The 640-802 Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) is the composite exam associated with the Cisco Certified Network Associate certification. A: Route determination is responsible for carrying frames between adjacent nodes. Frames is packets of data and the route determines which node the data is sent and retrieved to/from.
B: Flow control includes error correction and retransmission as needed.
C: Interface to transmission media is mechanical, electrical and functional interfaces.
D and E are a bit confusing, because they fit together with all of the others at one point or another. I put them together at the top, only because they both do the same thing, theoretically speaking.
All of the others provides access for the end user *and* communicates directly with user’s applications and programs.
If even one of the others fails, then access to the end user and communication for programs and applications fails. This must be a trick question. lol
