Windows media centre alternative?
Is there any free or open source software out there so i can use my pc as a media centre? just need the software or frontend thingy! Dont want to hook it up to internet once it’s installed, just want it for viewing photo’s and movies on my tv. I’m running a high spec xp system with tv out, I just loath handing microsoft my cash for their crap!
Ps. I own a legal copy of win xp, just want frontend thing like “yahoo go” which unfortunately is US only at mo. I already have a pc and laptop running linux, but the xp one is for the whole family to use!
